Today, I decided to take the new certification exam AWS Solutions Certified Architect Amazon. The examination consists of 55 multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 80 minutes and a minimum passing score of 65%. I finished it in about 35 minutes with 85% correct answers. I entered the cold test without any preparation, because I wanted an honest evaluation of my knowledge. Really surprised how much I discovered, it is a very good and thorough review.
What I liked the review was that there was no question of "Gotcha" or loads such as: "How many calculation units have an instance of m1.medium" or "What is the syntax Correct to set up automatic scaling using command line tools? "The test was obviously author of someone who has real-world experience working with AWS and not just a fine comb This is a title that's worth having on your resume and hiring managers to consider.
